Michael Cain received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1993. Since then, he has focused on creating his own Mixed Media Sculptures, focusing on Argon Gas and Glass Illuminated Vessels. He has appeared in numerous exhibits in Louisiana, Wisconsin, Washington, Georgia, New York, Massachusetts and Arizona.

As a former Competitive Cyclist (USCF), Cain's competitive drive has helped him in focusing on the creation of his art, and always pushing further to achieve his self-imposed goals. Other interests include skiing, roller blading, home beer brewing and music song writing/performance.

About his work, Cain states:
"I design and create these neon charged sculptural vessels to function, aesthetically, illuminated as well as non-illuminated. During the day, the bold colors and whimsical design carry the form. When evening comes and the lights are low, these vessels begin to evoke their unique magic. The internal aura created by the neon gives these sculptures their distinctive personality and warmth, and when the surface is touched, this glow is drawn to the fingertips. This interaction, along with the free-spirited design, combine to create a unique, alluring experience."
