B. Schmetzle - Kaleidoscopes
Miniature kaleidoscopes have intrigued collectors for many years. Finding quality images in diminutive kaleidoscopes is the challenge and the delight. Difficult to build due to their small scale, they are appreciated for the workmanship and skill apparent in their designs. A miniaturized reproduction of the historical Bush kaleidoscope from the 1880's. Bill Schmetzle's attention to detail is astonishing. This tiny little scope boasts a huge image with 3-point symmetry created through the two-mirror system. It must be seen to be believed. It is wonderful! Signed on the object chamber, numbered 33 of 100 at the eyepiece. 1.75 inches tall by 75 inches wide by .75 inches deep. $350.
