Sue Rioux - Kaleidoscopes

One of a Kind Kaleidoscope [filesize 25K]

Bob and Sue Rioux have been working with glass since 1976. They stumbled upon kaleidoscopes in 1984 and have been hooked ever since. Their body of work varies in shape and scale, but the sculptural elements of glass, and specifically their use of dichroic glass prevails in all their designs. Commonly all the Rioux kaleidoscopes have brilliant colors in the chambers or barrels. The images seem to explode from one color into another.
