Janice and Ray Chesnik are among the most recognized names in kaleidoscopes for their creative and contemporary designs. They have been making kaleidoscopes since the mid 1970’s. The skilled duo hand-crafts the mirror-systems, wood pedestals and wheels for their kaleidoscopes.

The Chesniks built a reputation for the high quality stained glass wheels found adorning their kaleidoscopes. Originally, the wheels were constructed from colored glass, agate stones or other gems. Over the years, the wheels have metamorphosed into works of art unto themselves.

Agate Wheels. The primary wheel in this set is made of natural agate stone that has been highly polished. Due to the patterns and colors of agate, it is perfect for kaleidoscopes! A background wheel of clear and colored glass accompanies this wheel.

Glass Wheels. The primary wheel in this set is made of highly textured or detailed stained glass. A simple background wheel of clear and colored glass accompanies this wheel. Any combination creates spectacular results.
