During the mid 1990's Will Smith captured the attention of kaleidoscope collectors with the acclaimed Fountain of Ahh's. Since then, Smith has devoted his attention to creating sculptural kaleidoscope fountains. In Venus, two kaleidoscopes face the floating bowl. As the water propels the bowl into motion, the kaleidoscope images move gracefully from one into the next. From either mirror-system, the images are truly spectacular. Try panning the bowl with either kaleidoscope for a truly unique experience.

The fun part about Venus is its interactive quality. Floating on the water is a beautiful hand blown bowl by Nina Palendino. Objects placed into the bowl offset the dichroic coating on the glass bowl. Enjoy fresh flowers or other small objects, even jewelry. Another idea, collect marbles and other small objects as you travel to set into the bowl. You have wonderful keepsakes and unique kaleidoscope experiences. It is clearly a conversation piece in any environment.
