If the hand painted glass wheels don't look exciting from the exterior prepare yourself for what you will find when you peer inside the airplane's tail. Viewing the wheels through the equilateral three-mirror system is where they really come to life. The bold colors of the geometric patterns create surprisingly detailed images. The transparent nature of the wheels lend themselves to holding one wheel stationary while slowly rotating the other wheel. It doesn't matter which wheel you turn, so alternate between the two. It is fascinating.
