Tom and Carol Paretti have been collaborating their talents for nearly two decades. During that time, the Paretti's have produced a small number of limited and open editions, which have been optically and sculpturally exciting. Their modernistic designs reflect the beauty and elegance of the materials they've chosen.

In Feather and Leather, the Paretti's have created a hand-held kaleidoscope like no other. The smooth leather cylinder is capped at either end by a brass band, creating a truly timeless piece, which encompasses both traditional and modern design. The not-so-hidden beauty of this kaleidoscope is found in the optics. Rather than rotating an object chamber or spinning a wheel, in Feather and Leather you squeeze the atomizer. A gentle breeze or a forceful gust moves the brightly colored feathers around in the object chamber.
