Through the years, Henry Bergeson has produced a body of work that clearly states his ability as a wood worker and a designer. His illusions are noted for their clarity as well as his acute sense of color and form. All this has taken time to perfect.
Sculpturally, the Wind Dancer is made from Bubinga accented with Maple and brass. Three liquid-filled chambers are viewed simultaneously. Quite innovative, they are held in place with a magnet and are connected to each other with a pulley system. By simply rotating the larger, central wheel, all three chambers are set into motion. The chambers sit in a wooden base that can also be rotated. You can turn the base for different effects.
If that is not enough, Bergeson includes three additional chambers. Combine the chambers in a variety of ways to get endless results.
The two-mirror system creates a 12-point image.
