Ice Flower is a classical two-mirror system abutting a polarized chamber creating a 6-point image. Inspired by snowflakes, Bob wanted to make a kaleidoscope image that reminded him of a snowflake. Because so many people compared snowflakes to kaleidoscopes. Devoid of color, the illusion depends solely on the light source.
