The Eggs'quisite series are made from infertile Rhea eggs. No worry, no little Rhea lost its life so we could have a kaleidoscope. Each egg is sterilized, then coated with about 10 layers of a hardener. The eggs are surprisingly strong - not as fragile as one would think. Each Eggs'quisite is painted to coordinate with the accompanying marbles. Three interchangeable, handmade marbles accompany each scope. Different effects are achieved with each marble. Each Eggs'quisite measures 7 ¾ inches tall on its base and 4 inches in diameter. The base dimensions are 2 ½ inches tall, 5 inches wide and 5 inches deep. US$400. | |
